Don Addington
Don Addington began his career winning the National Caddy Championship in 1948. He moved to Houston in his youth and was a state champion in high school for Lamar High School. He has played in several U.S. Amateur championships. Addington played college golf at Southern Methodist University. He was the 1956 Air Force Champion, the Four States Amateur Champion, and a six-time Texas Senior Championship. Addington also won the Gasparilla Invitational twice.
In addition, he has twice won the World Father-Son Championship with his son Rob, is an 18-time club champion at four different facilities, and a Dallas City Championship winner.
Mr. Addington has won 85 tournaments in his amateur career.
